2-1-1-2-Pulmonary metastatic nodule

-Study characterization: CT magnified left lung window at the level of the heart with contrast injection.
-Lesion localization: A small pulmonary nodule(less than 3 cm in diameter) seen in the posterior segment of the left lower lung lobe.
-Lesion characterization: This soft tissue nodule measures about --x-- cm with smooth regular edge and no calcium could be seen within its parenchyma.
-Differential diagnosis: Such a lesion should be considered undetermined lesion because it has a wide range of differential starting from benign lesion as tuberculoma or hamartoma which could be present without calcification in clinical practice or malignant one as bronchogenic carcinoma or metastases, so it needs further evaluation by biopsy.
-Diagnosis: Metastatic deposit proved by biopsy.
