2-6-Tuberculoma nodule

-Study characterization: CT chest at the level of tracheal bifurcation without contrast injection.
-Lesion localization: A calcified pulmonary nodule(less than 3 cm in diameter) is seen in the anterior segment of the right upper lobe.
-Lesion characterization: This soft tissue nodule is measuring about --x-- cm in diameter with totally calcified parenchyma suggest its benign nature(again, calcification in a pulmonary nodule could be confirm its benign nature, while calcification in a pulmonary mass could not confirm that, remember that clearly).
-Diagnosis:The previous radiological appearance would suggests a benign lesion rather than a malignant one with differentials between tuberculoma(most common for this appearance) and hamartoma, remember again that differentiation between these two lesions are very difficult radiologically in clinical practice.
