1-AVM are, in the majority of cases, associated with Rendo-Weber-Osler disease.
2-Many of them are discovered incidentally in adulthood.
3-It is most important to not make a biopsy for a pulmonary nodule except after being sure it is not AVM.
4-Usually are multiple.
