2-8-Pulmonary masses

1-Definition:

It is a well defined pulmonary opacity with size more than 3 cms in diameter.

2-Causes:

It can be classified according to its nature whether it is solid or cystic into the following:

-Solid lesions which could be bronchogenic carcinoma or metastases.

-Cystic lesions which has one differential diagnosis which is hydatid cyst.
